Four undergraduate scholarships are awarded annually to
civil engineering students at the University of Idaho with
an interest in transportation engineering.
Coral Sales/Douglas P. Daniels Scholarship
Thanks to the generosity of the
Coral Sales Company of Milwaukie, Oregon, two $1000
scholarships (one to a male and one to a female) awarded
to outstanding civil engineering undergraduates each
fall. Requirements:
- The recipient must intend to pursue a career in
transportation engineering or highway construction.
- Outstanding leadership qualities and
participation in extracurricular activities, both
civic as well as professional, will be given
significant weight.
- Applicant's GPA will not be considered in
awarding these scholarships; however, applicants
must exceed the minimum GPA requirements for the
College of Engineering.
- The recipient must have lived in the Northwest
for a period of at least six years.
- Students must be full-time and have a senior or
junior standing; however, students with senior
standing will be given priority.
- Prior Coral Sales Scholarship winners are not
eligible.

Institute of Transportation Engineers Scholarship
NIATT offers a scholarship to an outstanding
individual pursuing Civil Engineering studies in the
College of Engineering at the University of Idaho.
Criteria:
- The recipient must be a full time student and
have senior or junior standing;
- The recipient must have a good academic record.

Road Builders' Scholarship
Road Builders' Clinic Scholarship of $500 is awarded
yearly to one outstanding student interested in
transportation infrastructure. Applications for this
scholarship are available at the Civil Engineering
Office (Buchanan Engineering Laboratory 102) in November
of each academic year.
