We are looking for students to learn and serve in the heart
of the rugged, wild northern Rockies. This is Wilderness education; earn internship credit, learn
from field lectures and campfire discussions, work alongside the USFS in the
Wilderness, and
gain on-the-ground experience in protected-area management. Brought to you
by the University of Idaho Conservation Social Sciences Department, College
of Natural Resources, and the Service-Learning Center.
A group of service-learning students will help meet restoration needs
within a designated wilderness area. Through field lessons and hands-on
service-learning with leaders in the field,
students will learn the multifaceted nature of environmental preservation
and wilderness management.
