bulletThe Chichen-Itza ball court is one of the largest in all of Mesoamerica.  The playing field is 480 feet by 120 feet,  which is about the size of an American football field.  Most other ball courts, like the one at Uxmal, are about the size of a tennis court.

bulletThe vertical walls of the Chichen-Itza ball court are 27 feet high and the rings are located 25 feet above the ground.  Most other  ball courts had outward sloping sides that were much lower and easier to play.
