Article Reviews


Tom Grant, Doctoral Candidate, published “An oasis of peace” in GO magazine about Chamba in Himachal Pardesh India.


Dr. Stoll had her submitted article MS #1891, "Loyalty: Why It Is Problematic in Athletics," in Journal of College and Character, reviewed and accepted for a May, 2012, publication deadline.


Dr. Stoll and Dr Peter Van Mullem had a manuscript The Impact of Reflection on Ethical Decision Making for Sport Leaders accepted for publication in the Journal of Contemporary Athletics, Volume 6, Issue 4.


In our continuing work with Winning With Character, we received word from the University of Georgia football team that our curriculum continues to be the curriculum of choice in teaching moral reasoning and leadership ethics.


Clinton A. Culp, Doctoral Candidate, had an article accepted for publication in the Marine Corps Gazette, the professional journal for Marine Officers. The article, Character education at The Basic School and beyond, will detail his study and implementation of an improved character education program for new Marine Crops Lieutenants.

Projects Finished in 2012


Clinton A. Culp, Doctoral Candidate, worked with Dr. Steven Olson, Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business, and the United States Marine Corps’ The Basic School, on a collaborative effort to incorporate Values-Based Leadership within the Robinson College of Business’ MBA program.
