What Teaching for Learning: Making the Most of the New Science of Learning
Info Dr. Todd Zakrajsek is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Associate Director of the Faculty Development Fellowship at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He is the immediate past Executive Director of the Center for Faculty Excellence at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Zakrajsek's current academic work and publications pertain to faculty development, effective instructional strategies, and student learning. He is co-author of Teaching for Learning: 101 Intentionally Designed Activities to Put Students on the Path to Success and New Science of Learning: How to Learn in Harmony with Your Brain. He directs five national Lilly Conferences on College and University Evidence Based Teaching and Learning and serves as the Managing Editor of the Scholarly Teacher Blog.
