ARGUMENT RECONSTRUCTION

----------------------------------------------

Putting It All Together -- KEY:

As indicated in the previous section, it can be argued that there are seven arguments in Chapter 5.  You should select one that is complete and well-articulated.  In particular, the fourth argument (by the count in the previous section) is only partial, and arguments two, three, and five are all complex and challenging.  Of those on offer, arguments one, six, and seven are the most clearly presented.    Argument one is really a prelude to the real business of the chapter, which is the education of Grendel at the foot of the dragon.

If you have any questions about these, please talk with your instructor.  This is an important part of the preparation for the mini-project, so you need to be confident about the work you do here.
