Reading Messages:

	Under the Subject column click on a message.
	If you see a triangle that means there are more messages in that thread. They can be expanded by clicking on the triangle.

Posting Messages:

	Click on Compose Message
	Type your subject and message
	Attach any files you need to
	Press Post

Reply to Messages:

	Click on a Message
	Click the Reply button
	Type your message
	Press Post

To View Postings & Responses:
To see if postings or responses are recorded correctly, return to the Discussion topic where you posted your message and press the Update Listing button. It is a good idea to always check back and see that your messages were posted properly.

1. Read and follow the instructions for each assignment
2. Complete your assignment

   	Save your document as a Microsoft Word 97 or higher (.doc), or in the Rich Text Format (.rtf)
   	Use your last name in the filename (ex: exercise1-1_smith.doc)
   	Do NOT use special characters in the filename. These include #!@$%&*(:)<>?/+=   Use of an underscore _  or dash - is ok.

3. Submit your Assignment

   	Log in to the EnvS225 course site in Blackboard: http://blackboard.uidaho.edu
   	Click on the Assignment Drop Box tool
   	Select the appropriate Assignment
   	At the bottom of this page select the Upload file button
   	Select Browse to locate your assignment, then press Open to select the assignment
   	Select the Upload button to upload the assignment
   	DON'T FORGET to press the Submit assignment button to submit your assignment.
