ANOVA Post Hoc Tests

Lesson Description

This module discusses discrete and continuous probability distribution functions, regression analysis, and the analysis of variance.

The first main objective of the module is to review the basic characteristics of the binomial, Poisson, hypergeometric, normal, lognormal, the exponential distributions. It is most important to be comfortable with using the normal and lognormal distributions. The second and third main objectives are to understand regression analysis and the analysis of variance. This involves being able to define what they are, knowing when to use them, being able to use EXCEL to analyze a data set, understanding how to read the output from the analysis, and knowing how to draw conclusions from the analysis.

This week, work through the three sub-modules and review Chapter 3 in the textbook. You will need to show mastery of this material in Problem Set 2.
