1. What is the correct balance of risk and benefit in the food system that should be codified into law?
2. Are there current examples of risk vs. benefit decisions that you think should be changed?
3. What is the best relationship between food safety and the marketplace? How much should the premise of  caveat emptor ("Let the buyer beware.") be a part of personal food safety decisions?

1. Log into Blackboard and go to the foodTOX course.
2. Click on Discussion.
3. Choose the discussion topic Lecture discussions.
4. Reading Messages:
    
   • Under the Subject column click on a message.
   • If you see a Plus next to a message that means there are more messages in that thread. They can be expanded by clicking on the Plus.
5. Posting Messages:
    
   • Click on Create Message
   • Type your subject and message
   • Attach any files you need to
   • Press Post
