My name is Camille Stevens-Rumann, and I do hope you decide to

The material covered in this course
will include discussions
about the current and past approaches to fuels inventory
and mapping, the ecological role of woody debris in terrestrial
and aquatic ecosystems.
We will also discuss and use several methods for
estimating fuels characteristics as well as learn how to use the fuels
characteristic classification system. Along the way we will collect
field data, use some models and talk about the limitations and
assumptions of many techniques
This course is a combination of online
material, classroom work and a field trip. The field trip and classroom
work will be conducted at the University of Idaho in Moscow.
Along with myself Roger Ottmar
and Dr. Alistair Smith will help teach portions of this course. we all
