Revelations: Knowing the Nature of Properties and Objects in Experience

I discuss the relationship between two possible views about what might be given or revealed in perceptual experience: objects versus properties. Johnston and others have suggested that perceptual experience contains some non-representational presentation of structures of properties. Martin and other have made corresponding suggestions for objects.  I present some considerations in favor of an attenuated version of giveness for properties and some considerations against any corresponding doctrine for objects.
