Study Abroad
Orientation Schedule
There will be a mandatory orientation for all UI students
planning to study abroad, to be held in the Commons. Each orientation session will cover important topics such as culture shock,
what to pack, safety, travel, and much more. The orientation is extremely important, and there
will be a $100 penalty fee for UI students who do not attend.
For those students who have a valid reason why they cannot attend
orientation (class trip, serious family emergency, etc.), they must let one
of our advisors know and they will be given
the opportunity to attend a make-up orientation. Students who
also do not attend the
makeup orientation will be penalized with the $100 fee.
(NOTE: Non-University of Idaho students are encouraged, but
are not required, to
attend orientation.)
Orientation for Summer 2013, Fall 2013, and Full Year 2013-2014 Study Abroad Participants:
- Saturday, April 27th, 2013 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Commons
