Current Academic Responsibilities: 

NR 402: GIS Applications in Natural Resources (1 cr). Application of GIS principles to natural resource problems. Topics include GIS/GPS integration, habitat inventory, site suitability studies, risk assessment, sources of spatial data, map accuracy, etc. ArcView software and extensions will be used in hands on exercises.

NR 505 Advanced GIS Applications in Wildlife Sciences (1 cr). Advanced wildlife GIS applications focusing on spatial home range computations and habitat studies; accelerated. Prereq: GIS experience or perm.

NR 506 Advanced GIS Applications in Fire Ecology and Management (1 cr). Advanced applications of GIS and Remote Sensing to fire ecology and management, including fire regimes, fire effects and fire behavior. Includes independent study project; accelerated. GIS experience required. Prereq: GIS experience and perm. (Fall only)
