Professor R. Robberecht, Director

Professor Robberecht's research and academic specialty is ecology and physiological plant ecology, which is a discipline focused on how plant species respond to their environment. In addition to several courses in ecology and related subjects, Professor Robberecht has research on mechanisms of plant competition, cold and heat stress effects, plant water relations, photosynthesis and plant energy balance, and extensive research on mechanisms of plant response to natural and enhanced levels of UV-B radiation. The integration of information technology, including computer-based learning, is an additional scholarly area. Professor Robberecht is a Fulbright Scholar.
