Instructions for interactive lessons in ecophysiology

Because of recent changes in Internet Explorer, software,
and UI server, the
interactive lessons will not run properly via the Internet. Thus, you have
two options for the interactive lessons for the course: (1) I highly recommend that you
request a DVD of the interactive lessons for the entire course (you will
received information on this option during the first week of the course),
and (2) the alternative versions, which will play as a recorded version of
the interactive lessons compatible with both Windows and Apple OS. The first interactive lesson, Introduction to Ecophysiology, can be accessed without the set up procedures shown below, and thus you should begin with this introductory lesson during the first week of the course (the DVD should be used for subsequent lessons). Verify that your computer system
meets the required specifications and is configured correctly. Advisory

Select a lesson.
When prompted, enter your University of Idaho NedtID and
VandalWeb password.

If the interactive lesson does not appear on your screen, then you most
likely have a pop-up blocker enabled on your browser.

Click on the button in the bottom right side of any lesson page to end your lesson (in some of the lessons, clicking on the button will take you to the cover page; click again and the lesson will close).. | To close browser window - if
it does not close after your lesson ends 1. Press and hold down the ALT key 2. Press the F4 key

As a matter of normal computer maintenance, delete your temporary internet files from the Temporary Internet Files folder. | On the browser menu bar, select 1. Tools 2. Internet Options 3. Delete Files 4. Delete all offline content
