Range management is a unique profession that requires knowledge of many aspects of ecology and management. Undergraduate students have the opportunity to tailor their education to best suit their interests by choosing one of the B.S. degree options: Rangeland Ecology and Management - 88 credits of core requirements and rangeland basics - 19 credits of courses in a specific area called a Career Track - 21 credits of "free electives" for you to explore - view checklist for degree requirements Range Livestock Management A double major in Rangeland Ecology and Animal Science developed in cooperation with the Department of Animal and Veterinary Science. This is a true double major. However, both Range Ecology and Animal Science have negotiated some special substitutions that apply only to this double major. These cross-departmental agreements make it possible for a student to complete the double major in 4 years. - 131 credits of required coursework - All electives used to complete courses between rangelands and animal science - view checklist for degree requirements
Wildlife Habitat Management A double major in Rangeland Ecology and Wildlife Resources developed in cooperation with the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. This is a true double major. Several special substitutions have been created by the Range Ecology and Wildlife Resources faculty that apply only to this double major.
