Chemistry 111 is currently being taught by Professor Sharon Hutchison.  Dr. Hutchison's office is in room 217 of Renfrew Hall.  You may contact Dr. Hutchison by e-mail at sgh@uidaho.edu or by phone at 885-6440.  

Office hours for Fall Semester 2013 are 10:30 - 11:15 Monday, Wednesday, & Friday  and  2:30 - 3:15 Monday & Wednesday.

Course Outline:  This is a tentative outline of the sections of the textbook that should be the main emphasis of each day's lecture.  Some topics may carry over into the next lecture and, if time permits, we may begin some topics prior to the day mentioned   Also included are the textbook problems that you should work after each day's lecture.  This outline is not carved in stone and may change as the semester progresses.

Quizzes:  If you wish to receive credit, the quizzes must be completed by the due date and time.  Since you always have at least 10 days to work on them, there will be no exceptions and no extensions with regard to the due date and time. 

Laboratory:  Select for laboratory information.

Exam Information:  Select for exam information and to obtain copies of old exams

Grades:  Select for information concerning grading policies and course grades.

Renfrew 49 Schedule:  Select to see the office hour schedule for Chemistry Department Teaching Assistants (held in REN 49).  The Chem 111 Teaching Assistants are:  Rmdan Altwer, Mamta Kaura, Virgil Ricks, Rama Tiwari, Haoyu Zhu     

Academic Support & Access Programs:  Small Group Tutoring (request form):  You can sign up individually, but will be assigned a tutor more quickly if you sign up with other students.

Periodic Table:  Copy of the Periodic Table (without the Lanthanides and Actinides)
