How can we use sustainability
concepts in land use and transportation decisions within the Moscow
community and region?
This workshop will focus how local decision makers
and agency staff can consider sustainability and environmental
issues as they assess one concept now being discussed in the region: the ring road. How can
this project meet the future
transportation needs of the region and what issues must local
decision makers consider as this project begins to take shape.
How does the concept of context sensitive solutions help support the
development of this concept? What information is needed to
support the discussion of this concept?
