Satellite Teleconferences & Overflow Viewing

Many agencies and organizations provide training and information programs throughout the year via satellite teleconferences.

These programs are typically produced and advertised for specific audiences through professional organizations and associations.  Registration to receive the programming is usually required and may include registration fees.

Using our rooftop satellite dishes, the Video Production Center can downlink these programs for you.  We can record the programs to VHS videotape or DVD for later viewing. 

Or we can feed programs from our dishes to one of several viewing locations on campus for live viewing.  Routing capabilities between the VPC Control Room and the locations below can also be used to provide overflow feeds for campus events expecting audiences too large for any one room.
