UITV-8 Cable Television Channel 8

UITV-8 provides University of Idaho programming to the Moscow community through the Adelphia Cable TV system. 

University programming on UITV-8 is scheduled by the Video Production Center.  Through a cooperative arrangement, daily playback operations for UITV-8 are handled by KUID/IPBS. 

UI programming is scheduled during the late afternoon and evening time blocks Monday through Friday.  The remaining time slots are filled by KUID Idaho Public Broadcasting.

The VPC schedules local UI programs drawing upon courses, programs, and events sponsored by UI departments.    Many of these programs are produced by the VPC at the request of the sponsoring departments.  Other program providers include the UI School of Journalism and Mass Media and the ASUI.
