WELCOME !
Studies in
wildland hydrology and watershed management at the University of Idaho are
primarily focused on hydrologic processes and the impact of natural and
human-induced landcover changes on the mass and energy fluxes occurring in
wildland systems.
Specific areas of research
include:
- Interactions of vegetation
and topography on hydrological processes in snow-dominated complex
terrain
- Development of measurement and modeling
tools of cold-season hydrological processes
- Cumulative effects of land management
and climate change on riparian systems
