      1. Violent, mean comments
    2. Idaho does not have a code to protect our community from specific harassment issues
      1. Can arrest people based on probable cause

    3. Be self aware of your surroundings

      2. Be able to hear what is going on around you
    4. Best Offense is the Best Defense
      1. Which is “run like hell and yell real loud”
      2. Dial 911 on your cell phone
      3. But if you cannot, you do have the right to defend yourself
      4. If police are involved, listen to the cops 100%
    5. Let people know where you are going
    6. DO NOT leave people if you are in a group
    7. Going just through the university will not completely protect you from harassment, call police even if it happens on campus
    8. Violent crimes this year:
      1. 1 cop, 7 murders in the county
      2. Very horrible year, very bizarre
    9. Don’t use threats, you’re creating an offense where you could just be defensive in nature, you’ll be prosecuted if any negative happens
    10. 911 getting text messages?
      1. They don’t have the ability yet to track where you cell phone is because of a lack of money to purchase the equipment if you can’t say anything
      2. Totally know where the 911 call came from a land line even if you can’t say anything
