Meeting Minutes: September 27, 2006

Unity: (Max & Leah)

Retreat this weekend; Max is going, anybody else want to go?

List of goals for Max to accomplish at retreat~ things for Max to share with rest of unity: Group organization, running meetings, team building, fundraising

3 things that represent our group

We are now official members, we can write proposals

Homecoming Float – 6 groups, GSA is first in train, “Cars” will be connected with streamers and balloons

Homecoming: Oct 7

Meet at Chris’ house to make signs; Sunday the 1st at 7pm.

Chris has Helmets available for $3

Everybody is welcome! The more people the better!!

NCOD: Oct 11

Tabling: Wed. 4, Mon. 9, Tue. 10, Wed. 11 at the commons (e-mail if you would like to sign up for times and haven’t already done so)

Buttons for sale – 1 for $1 or 3 for $2

Flyer Party, wed. 4th
Move meeting (OCT 4 only) to multi-cultural center at the TLC
Putting up flyers for NCOD, make buttons, and make Giant Banner for Commons – pizza and a movie

Club T-Shirts: Kelly Green, “What’s in your closet?” on the front and “The gay straight alliance” on the back right side bottom (will be for sale)

Movie on the 14th – Kinky Boots, maybe in the TLC

Performance Piece: “Whiptail Lizard Lesbians” Hartung at 6pm (what day?)

Ally Fest on NCOD – Allies come and speak, Ally Groups will be tabling in the commons courtyard. (organized by campus wide planning committee)

Safe Zone Training: Oct. 2 at the law school at 11:30. Will last around 1 and a half hours.

Night without comfort; 6pm Friday through 7am Saturday; going to be raising money for habitat for humanity

WSU - GLBTA Pullman:

Tuesday 0ct10– day – art projects; decorate doors

Wednesday 0ct11– multicultural get together/ice-cream social

Friday Oct13– up all night – “But I’m a cheerleader,” tie-dye t-shirts, closet cookie decorations – drag show at their mall—want to perform, let them know

Planning a rave w/other multi-cultural groups – on football field, possibility to help sponsor
