What this site is about:

This site is for those of us, that after a full day at work, come home and instead of watching TV, engage in an engineering project. You may do this to develop a product for sale, or an item for your personal use, or for a friend, or a hobby, or just because you like stressful living and hate what's on TV. We tend to work alone in this design endeavor. Doing everything from the documentation of the specs., through the design, software, materials, prototyping, debugging, redesign, construction, manuals, and marketing. 
Now, I tend to lean toward electrical engineering, but this site is for all disciplines involved in design and building. Anyhow, the reason I setup this site is to share ideas and solutions with others in this after sunset design lifestyle, so lets see what we build this site into. 
 

With some interesting things like:

• How to get machine shop work done, that's affordable.

• How to get adequate tools without selling the kids.

• Building fixtures and jigs for manufacturing.

• Finding parts in low quantities.

• Making a prototype look good with hardware store supplies.

• Writing the ugh... documents.

• Low cost advertising.

• Help with a real dog of a bug.

• Junk yard sensors.

• Hey! You tell me what you would like to see here.
