The University of Idaho Davis Student Investment Group offers students a unique opportunity to study and actively participate in financial markets.

Students that participate in the Davis Investment Group are responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of stocks, bonds, and other equities.

Lead by Assistant Professor Brett C. Olsen, each group member is responsible for tracking a specific market sector and providing weekly reports which includes news, ratings, and personal recommendations. Group members are also responsible for presenting investment opportunities to each other in formal presentations. These activities provide members with invaluable real world experience with financial markets and investment decisions.
