General Location and Strategy: AL01 is on the Urvina Bay uplift, a section of coastline that suddenly ascended a few meters back in the 1950s.

Field Notes:  Land at the tourist site (beach). Site is off inland segment of the tourist trail, about a half hour from landing. Site is near center of unvegetated part of uplifted peninsula, near a particularly large a'a' block. It is the first black block reached from the south (the ones to the south are covered with barnacles).
