Monument FE12 is located on a steep (30°), N-facing slope which is comprised of loose a'a. A large cairn is located 25m W of the monument.
Getting to FE12 from FE13:
1. Do not take a direct route down the fall line through the jungle.
2. Stumble down steep aa that you crossed bearing right wherever it
forks.
3. Keep going down this lava until you reach another circumferential
fissure at about 1035 m.
