General Location and Strategy: Monument FE19 is located on the north coast of Fernandina

Field Notes: Fe19 is a very difficult landing; site is on monster a'a' flow. Real bad a'a'. Best point to land is just on the east side of a little point that sticks out to the north (point has a boulder-sand beach in embayment to the west with large breakers). Lost brass cap in the a'a', so monument is an X sawed into a Bondo mound.
