General Location and Strategy: SN19 is placed in the moat to the west of the sinuous ridge. We suspect it might be dropping down.

Monument SN19 is located near a large cactus.  The monument is set in older, vegetated pahoehoe that underlies younger a'a in the moat in this sector of the caldera.  Sulphur deposits of Volcan Azufre are due N of this station.

Height to antenna:  0.414m + 0.108m = 0.522m
Antenna offset: 0.353m

2000 Results

Data from 2 GPS days were combined (1/7/00-1/8/00). Solution was made by fixing Base (SN01).

The first reported uncertainty uses the sigma of the coordinate group as a scaling factor and may be too pessimistic. The second uses the sigma of the single difference observations as a scaling factor and is obviously a gross underestimate.
