The University of Idaho is located in North
Idaho, in the prototypical college town of Moscow. Moscow boasts a
population of 21,000, roughly half of whom are students at the University.
The surrounding area consists of rolling fields of various crops,
including wheat, lentils, and peas. Just out of town to the east stands
Moscow Mountain, the beginnings of the Rocky Mountains. Eight miles to the
west is Pullman, Washington, home of Washington State University. This
page contains photographs of the University of Idaho and the hills and
mountains of North Idaho and Eastern Washington.
