You academic types may be interested in my Teaching Portolio. It advances my ideas about teaching and shows the products created by my students. If you are interested in the profession or in training for it, the teaching portfolio will help you understand some facets of the work.

The teaching portfolio is organized according to University of Idaho courses. The topics in the table of contents are also available as links in the Curriculum Vitae and the Narrative Vitae.

My most recent activities include assisting in the creation of an international library of landscape images. I coordinated the development of file type and size standards. I have made a major contribution to the images in the library. These copyright and royalty free images are available at the University of Idaho and the University of Toronto.

I recently completed a video tape and companion book titled "Cool Islands". They were produced for the City of Lewiston and targeted for designers and developers. The video and text address parking lot design and strategies for shading and stromwater management.

An internet course I am developing on the History of Landscape Architecture will be available from the University of Idaho June 30, 1998. I have removed the prototype that was available on the web. I'll replace it with samples from the course in a few weeks.
