Human Ecosystems Study Group (HESG)
Introduction

Formed in 2006, the Human Ecosystems Study Group (HESG) is an evolving group of scientists, graduate students, post-doctoral researchers and professional resource managers working to apply the Human Ecosystem Model (HEM) to a variety of critical environmental and social problems. The scope of work is broad—from local applications to global concerns—and there is a strong international component to HESG activities. HESG members collaborate on projects, publications, and presentations about the HEM and its applications.
