Moscow - idaho - usa
Moscow is located in the inland Northwest of USA, approximately 5 hours east of Seattle, 4 hours south of the Canadian border and 5 hours north of Idaho’s capital, Boise. Idaho is one of the most beautiful states in US. The diverse landscape offers lakes, rivers, mountains, hills, prairie, forests, abundant wildlife, canyons, volcanic activity… It also provides world-class opportunities for outdoors activities (e.g., hiking, rafting, fishing, mountain biking, skiing, etc...) Several national parks are within driving distance including Glacier NP, Yellowstone NP, Hells Canyon NM, Mt. Rainier NP, Mt. St. Helen’s NM, North Cascades NP, Olymipic NP and Banff NP. The climate in Moscow is dominated by the altitude (~3000 ft) and the presence of the first foothills of the Rocky Mountains in our backyard. The distinct seasons include a fairly cool and moist spring, a long summer period (warm and dry after July 4th), a beautiful fall that peaks in the middle of October, and winters with 0-3 feet of snow.
