Location of weather station
My weather station is located at our house (2148 Randall Flat Road, Moscow, Idaho), in the SW 1/4, SW 1/4, NE 1/4 of Sec 32, T40N, R4W: Moscow Mtn. 7.5' quadrangle. My GPS tells me the station is at: 46 deg 46.037' (N) and 116 deg 51.715' (W).
(The photos on this page were taken on 1-Feb-96 with a QuickTake 150 camera. They were reduced 50% and saved as jpegs. They appear a little dark because the camera has no exposure control, and in snow one needs to "open up" for correct exposure.)

A view looking north. Moscow Mountain is the peak on the left and East Moscow Mountain the peak on the right. Our house (and the weather station) is located about 1 mile south of Moscow Mountain. With some imagination you can see our house about 2/3rds of the way down Moscow Mountain (the snow-covered roof shows through the trees).
