Air/Water/Soil   Defining the solutions to problems related to conserving and improving the quality of our air, soil, and water resources.   Chemicals   Seeking ways to use chemicals safely and/or find alternatives to chemical to use while maintaining the ability to produce an adequate supply of food and fiber products to sustain our needs.     Ecosystems Learning about the relationships between animals and plants and the living and non-living components of their environments.

Outdoors   Studying the effects of specific activities of man, animals, and other forces on outdoor environments.   Waste Management Identifying and implementing creative solutions to pollution problems that impact environments due to improper management of waste materials.
