Class sites
I regularly
teach two main classes at the U of Idaho.
One of them
is an upper-division/graduate student course in plant-animal interactions class
(BIO 448) that I have taught at my previous academic hearths. It is given every other year. The web
site for the class, which is based on the Herrera & Pellmyr text "Plant-Animal
Interactions" and many other readings is only accessible to students
on campus.
My second
class, Advanced Evolutionary Biology (Bio 421) is given each fall. It is currently based on Doug Futuyma's
excellent "Evolution"
[2005 book, with bird of paradise on cover; NOT his earlier book by the same
name]. Because the field is moving
forward at a wonderfully furious pace, there will be lots of just-published
materials used in the course.
