Proposal Format

include the following components in your proposal:

A.  Proposal for the Personal Quest  (individual or small group participatory paper)

1.  Tentative Title.

2.  Scope of Project.

• identify the specific religious tradition, i.e., Muslim, Hindu or Indigenous (and if Indigenous, the specific tribe or community), and the particular ceremony, rite of passage, or pilgrimage you proposal to study. 

• suggest the storyline, involving the plot, main characters and your role, i.e., as a first person participant.

3.  If a group project, involving two or three members and no more, specify the roles of each member, i.e., what each member will be responsible for contributing to the final paper.  The project must be shown to have been equally researched and written, though special talents might adjust how each contributes, e.g., artistic skills in drawing might lessen the level of a writing contribution.

4. Provide at least two source references of potential research on which the project will be based.  These should be print library sources and not Internet sources (though legitimate Internet sources can be used for the project).
