"Discovery" of Immunization in the 1870s.
Seeking cure for chicken cholera by given cholera to healthy chickens and then do the research. Accidently used stale culture of cholera, and subsequently connected the dots (divergent and convergent thinking), when these chickens immune for cholera. Applied to cattle with anthrax and cured.
