• Navajo Yeibichei Song: Talking God Song, singers: Ben Hudson Begay and "his team," recorded by Laura Boulton, 1940, from Navajo Songs, track #1 (Smithsonian Folkways Recording CD SF 40403, 1992). Sung in conjunction with various ceremonials, such as the Nightway, these songs are performed by masked dancers representing Yei, led by Talking God.
• Navajo Corn Grinding Song, lead singer: Joe Lee, recorded by Laura Boulton, 1940, from Navajo Songs, track #8 (Smithsonian Folkways Recording CD SF 40403, 1992). One or more men would help lighten the labor of corn grinding by singing one of the rhythmic Corn Grinding songs.
