Some Markie fans feel that her most successful TV series was the short-lived Hearts Afire show. It really was a great show and received very high ratings it's first season on the air (1993). Here is a scan on a ticket to one of the HA tapings.

Unfortunately, after the first successful season both the studio (CBS) and the creators (Linda and Harry Thomamson) started messing with it. First the studio kept putting it on in ever-changing evenings, so that it lost it's regular following. Then the writers changed it from a wonderful politically based satire in Washington, D.C., to a family show by moving it somewhere "down South". After three seasons it was finally pulled. Sad. It really was a good show and the Goddess never looked more beautiful!! The cast picture below shows Markie looking her foxiest!!!

Right now the show is in re-runs in the U.K. It has made a big fan out of Avril in England. She has a lovely website dedicated to John Ritter and H.A. which you can access from my links page.
