MARKIOBILIA
This is a page designed to show some of the interesting objects and artifacts pertaining to Markie that Irmgard has been able to collect recently. This is all neat stuff. A lot of it will show in many ways how the Goddess has developed such a positive reputation as one of the nicest and kindest celebrities in Hollywood.
For instance, check out the following letter. Acquired from e-Bay, it is a primo example. Written during the Night Court years to a fan, it probably accompanied a signed photo. Anyone would be thrilled to receive such a nice letter-especially from the most beautiful woman on the planet!
Check out the following autograph from Markie . (C'mon, guys-try to get beyond the foxy pose of the picture!) Notice again the personal touch. This is not your usual "distant" celebrity!
Here's a fascinating bit of Markiobilia. It is the cancelled check from Warner Brothers for Markie's First Night Court appearance way back in 1984!
At the time Markie had not yet become a regular on the show. She appeared as a guest public defender in a show entitled "Daddy for the Defense", which was show number 15 in the second season of Night Court in 1984. Under contract for the Fall Guy, she finally became a regular on the show in the 3rd season, 1985, in show number 38. She made a nice sum of $$$ for her appearance (which I've covered up-it's really only her business). Don't get too excited over the Social Security number. It's not hers, but that of her agency. Interesting, n'est ce pas?
Here's a nifty early picture of Markie reclining on the hood of her beloved Ford Mustang! It is from a People Magazine that was celebrating the 20th anniversary of the car by showing various celebrities with their prized autos. Apparently this car must have been important for the young "still-playing-the-bail-bondsperson-on-Fall-Guy"actress, if we can judge from the caption! (Ah Irmgard loves those spiked high heels!!)
