In the duel between Mrs. Delacour and Mrs. Luttridge (on pages 54 to 60) the women took on masculine roles.  This could be considered an act of feminism because the women broke through the boundaries of what was expected of them and what was deemed proper.  How would you argue for or against this statement?

This duel also mocks the necessity of duels by taking what men considered a serious sport and creating a farce.  Do you agree or disagree with this statement?  If you agree, how does this scene accomplish this?
