LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES
by Christopher Hampton, directed by Robert Caisley, University of Idaho 2002

Played against reflective surfaces on the paneled wall, ceiling and floor, we catch a glimpse of these magnificent predators, Valmont and Merteuil, brilliantly, curiously lit on the eve of their political extinction. A large deconstructed clock echoes the central theme of time running out and a Fragonard inspired drop appears through the open panels.
