TAMING OF THE SHREW
by William Shakespeare, directed by Gordon Reinhart, Idaho Repertory Theatre, 2000

The world of the play is really two worlds: Elizabethan England presided over by the ultimate status symbol,
the Queen, and (for the bulk of the play) high-fashion contemporary Italy.
After watching the Sly play, the Queen is pulled into a "dream play" in which she becomes Kate.
