Novel processes for combined chemical and biological degradation of toxic organic chemicals (specifically nitroaromatic chemicals and chlorinated solvents), biodegradation of nitroaromatic chemicals, biotransformation pathways, modeling of degradation kinetics in bioreactors and soil, bioreactor process design, and composting process design.
