Extra Credit Project #2 “Moscow Water Reclamation and Reuse Plant Tour” ARCH 464 ECS

In this project you'll visit the wastewater reclamation and reuse plant to see how it operates. One time will be scheduled—Thursday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. Please be there on time. This plant is located across the Moscow Pullman Highway from Petco and the Palouse Empire Mall. Rollerblade or bicycle to the plant on the Chipman Trail!

Diagram the system and explain how it works. Show its niche in the evapo-transpiration cycle. Compare the Moscow system to the Santee System illustrated in MEEB.

If you can't make it at the scheduled time, see me. You may schedule an alternative time or an alternative destination—Moscow Recycling Center (they recycle consumer goods) or Wasankari Construction (they recycle buildings and materials).

Or if you're not in Moscow make an appointment to tour your local waste water treatment plant, recycling center, or building materials recycler.
