The Baobab Project Narratives

A section of the Baobab Project, completed at Harvard University, this site explains and describes the spread of Islam throughout Western Africa and discusses  the effect that Western Africa had on Islam, and why this region was important, historically, to the religion.  Click this link to go to the main Baobab Project page, which was "was established to make African visual culture available to a broader audience."
