Organize Content in Folders

A Content Folder can be used to organize related content within your course Content Areas (left side menu items). For example, you could create a folder called "Week 1". Inside that folder you would place all of the activities and files which will occur during the first week of the semester. If you do not yet have a content area created, Create a New Content Area before continuing with the instructions below.

1. Add your Content Folder

  • On the Action Bar, point to Build Content.
  • Select Content Folder.
  • On the Create Content Folder page type in a Name for the Content Folder (e.g., Week 1 - Course Overview).
  • In the text editor box, type in your content OR copy and paste content using Control + V (or Mac - Command + V) created elsewhere. Learn more about using the BbLearn Text Editor.
  • Click on the Submit button to save your Content Folder.
  • BbLearn displays a success message at the top of the page and the Content Folder you created now appears in the Content Area.

Reorder Content within Folder

  • Use the action bar to the left of any content within a Content Folder/Area to drag and drop the item up or down the page.
