Landscape Architecture Graduate Degree Programs
Candidates must fulfill the requirements of the College of Graduate Studies and of the Landscape Architecture program. See the College of Graduate Studies section for the general requirements applicable to the degree.
Master of Landscape Architecture. Candidates must fulfill the requirements of the College of Graduate Studies and of the Landscape Architecture program including a 3.0 minimum GPA in order to be considered for admission to the Master of Landscape Architecture first professional degree program. Eighteen of the 36 credits required for the MLA degree must be at the 500 level, including the following courses: LArc 554 Graduate Studio 1 (6 cr), LArc 556 Graduate Studio 2 (6 cr), LArc 558 Graduate Studio 3 (6 cr). The remaining courses required to complete credits for this degree may be 300, 400 or 500-level electives from programs across the university. (300 level electives from Landscape Architecture cannot be used as graduate electives.) (More required courses are listed below under both thesis and nonthesis options)
Students without an undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture are required to pursue the Non-Thesis or Final Project Option:
