The text we are using is:

Infants, Children, & Adolescents, Edition 7
by Laura Berk

I've used this book for many years and students find it readable and interesting.  It is covers the material chronologically, meaning it starts with conception and birth and follows development through the years to adolescence.  I think you'll like it.

Grade Aid for Infants, Children, and AdolescentsThe study guide is optional but is very helpful for mastering the material.  The course is dense with theory and terms and this helps with mastery of those concepts.
